Forward Together

For my AP Art Drawing Portfolio, I investigated the topic of the journey of a mid-20th-century European Immigrant coming to America. I looked at different points of an immigrant’s life, as well as the symbolism behind making the treacherous journey. Forward Together is about the couple that is starting their new future together. In this digital painting, they are surrounded by the immigration documents and records that allowed them into America.
